Is pest and vermin control included in the price?

Yes we have a regular program for the control of pests and vermin at Yatala Self Storage and your individual unit is treated before you take possession and after you leave at no extra charge to you.

Do you sell storage boxes?

Yes we have a range of boxes and packaging if you look to our self storage supplies for more information.

Can Yatala Self Storage arrange removals?

We don't arrange removals but can give you the details of removalists for your area.

How much will a storage unit hold?

1.5 x 1.5 metre space holds one room of belongings.
1.5 x 3 metre space holds 2-3 rooms.
3 x 3 metre space is ideal for a small home or two bedroo apartment.
6 x 3 metre space is suitable for a larger home, large archive storage, tradesman's equipment and lots more.

How can I pay?

Cash, Bank Deposit or by EFTPOS. We accept Master Card VISA Bank card and EFTPOS cards. Refunds are by cheque only.

When can I have access to my self storage unit?

Access is by individual pin number from 6am to 9pm - 7 days. This can be extended during the initial move in period but for security reasons once you have moved in we will revert the access hours back to standard.

Do I have to sign anything?

Yes. We use the standard Self Storage Association Agreement. A booking includes $50 deposit, one months rent in advance and a valid contract.

How soon can I move in?

You can move in from the date your contracts starts.

How much space will I need?

The actual amount of space you need will depend on the type of goods you have, how accessible you want them to be and the way you fill your space. This storage-space-estimator calculator easily estimates how much self storage space you will need.

Can I get a discount for long-term self storage?

Yes. We give discounts for payments 3, 6 or 12 months in advance.

Can I get Insurance while using Yatala self storage?

Yes. We are cashiers for Aon insurance and our site is of a standard that is acceptable to the major insurance companies.
Some of the major companies will extend home and contents insurance by arrangement but may have a limit on the time they will cover your goods while in transit or in our self storage.
It's important to check with your insurance company to see what their policy is.
